    Den Haag kent acht markten waaronder een antiek- en boekenmarkt, een boerenmarkt en vijf wijkmarkten. Kroonjuweel is zonder twijfel de gezellige Haagse Markt die met ruim 500 vaste kramen en 25.000 dagelijkse bezoekers tot een van de grootste onoverdekte markten in Europa behoort. Om het beheer en bestuur van al deze markten een verbeterimpuls te geven heeft de gemeente een radicale omslag gemaakt van ‘papier naar digitaal’ met behulp van de agile ontwikkelmethode. Devoteam werd ingeschakeld als intermediair tussen Den Haag als opdrachtgever en de bouwer van het nieuwe systeem Mercato.
